My partner sent me a beautiful fairy shrine, a lovely memory album with lots of extras to finish it, and two journals. I think one will become my new swap journal, if I choose to start another swap.

I was worried I was not going to get this done on time. Finally, it is done and I love it. I keep wondering if I should change the artwork to an applique. Several people say they like it as is, so it will stay as is. I did shorten the strap by request. Thankfully, I found a nonanimal biproduct button that was still big and bold. I was afraid I was going to have to settle for a plain, brown, plastic button. Although it would of matched the eyes. Maybe I will make a journal for myself and use the leftover piece as a book mark. I found some Edgar Allen Poe postage stamps and knew I had to use them for the scrapbook page. We used the patch from her uniform and shrunk down the booklet. I was very excited to receive my first swap package. Melvinator, my coffee/tea swap partner sent me a great package. I had eight delicious tea varieties, a handy tea wallet, a coffee sleeve, and several extras. I have always wanted a cute coffee sleeve.
My Celtic music swap was sent out awhile ago. I just haven't posted here for awhile. First is a scrabble bracelet with scenes from Ireland, it spells sailing on the back. It was inspired by Beyond the Sea by Celtic Women. I also made a jewelry pouch with the lyrics; Sailing, somewhere beyond the Sea. |
