Summer is all but over, don't tell my garden as it is just getting started. What better way to end summer but with homemade ice cream. I bought two Hamilton Beach Half Pint ice cream makers. They each come with two freezer bowls and a mixer lid. I sent one bowl and mixer with Danny and three bowls and a mixer here. That gives each of us a bowl to make our own creations. Today Alex made a reversed mint chip, Charles made a V8 sorbet, and I made a walnut praline. They were all very tasty, we shared bites, but I liked the praline best. Danny called. He made the mocha from the recipe booklet and then a jumbled mix of everything; yogurt, V8, and mint chips. Not my idea of good ice cream, but if your creation turns out less than desired, it is just one bowl.
